Roses ~ Day 18 of the 30 in 30 painting challenge.  Wow!  couldn't decide what to paint today so played around with some flowers/roses.  One thing I have found out for sure is to enjoy painting and to have the patience to paint you have to be in the mood to paint!!  I fiddled around all morning trying to think what I wanted to paint and then I said goodness JUST PAINT before you run out of time!  Monday's are busy so I will have to admit, I just wasn't ready to paint!  Anyway here is a collage of roses!  Maybe tomorrow will be better!  Until then have a great day!

Harvest ~ Day 17 painting in the 30 in 30 painting challenge!  This painting is a 4 x 4 x 1.5 in wrapped canvas. You can find it on my website.  http://www.creativeworksoflindaclark.com/gallery/original-oil-on-canvas#&ui-state=dialog

Romancing Autumn is number 16 painting in the 30 paintings in 30 days challenge with Leslie Saeta!!  For todays painting I was inspired by an arrangement I was swoon over on my friend's, @frenchcountrycottage post!!  If  you do not know her and love French Country like I do you need to check out her blog and her squares on Instagram!!  I love every single post!!  Her blog is www.frenchcountrycottage.net.  Anyway.....this painting is on an 8 x 8 x 1.2 wrapped canvas.  I started with a pink acrylic background.

I took the picture tonight after I finished painting so I hope it will look good in daylight! This painting as well as my other 30 in 30 paintings are for sale if not already sold.  You can find them on my website http://www.creativeworksoflindaclark.com/images/romancing-autumn  You should head over there now and sign up for my newsletter,  I have lots of good things going on.  First of October I will be taking an online class with Roisin O'Ferrell so that is exciting!!  Enjoy your evening and tap into that creative side of you and do something fun!!

The Apple~ Day 15 painting in the 30 paintings in 30 days!!  And boy was this a doozy!!  I started this painting the other day with a palette knife and then put a pink background.  Apples do not look good with pink!!!  So I tried covering it up with some black and ended up with an ugly purple black.  I quit and was going to throw it away but for some reason I have a hard time throwing away a painting.  It had been a few days so today I thought I wonder what a lime green background would look like????  Well....It's better than the other two.  I decided that since I was trying new techniques anyway I'd work on it and make it look the best I could instead of ditching it.  So.....for what it is worth here is a 6 x 6 inch wrapped canvas to my midway point painting!!  Enjoy your evening and I'll see you tomorrow!!
